Michelle Carol Pearce was the Joint Winner of the Pighog Short Story Competition for Writers of Children's Fiction 2010.
Michelle has a life-long love of literature and writing, and has been a prolific writer of poetry, stories and journals since the age of 7. She was born and raised in Hong Kong, moving to England at the age of 12. She has lived and worked in Hong Kong, America and France and now lives in the beautiful Sussex countryside with her husband and three children. She has an English degree from Oxford University and currently juggles being a mother, yoga teacher and massage therapist with developing her work as a writer.
