The second of our 2012 Thursday series showcases the poetry of Maria Jastrzębska (right) and Liz Berry. Jastrzębska's widely translated work includes I'll Be Back Before You Know It (2008) and Everyday Angels (2009). She is co-translator of Elsewhere (2011), the definitive English edition of Iztok Osojnik's work. Liz Berry is an exceptional young poet who won the 2009 Eric Gregory award. Her debut pamphlet The Patron Saint of Schoolgirls (2010) was praised by Andrew Motion for its 'sharp observation and a clever innocence'. There will also be open mic opportunties!
